Voomz is a Los Angeles based band featuring female vocalist/DJ Marcelle Voomz, bassist Corey Jones, guitarist Dante Brunetto, keyboardist Christopher Sung, and drummer John Doherty. Their synth-based original compositions draw inspiration from new wave, the 70s, 80s, and electronic disco creating a unique combination reminiscent of a young Blondie blended with the quirky and artistic elements of an artist like Bjork.
Voomz self-released an original LP ELECTRONAUTZ that landed on URB’s Next List and are currently recording a 2nd release LA F’AIM D’EVE due in 2011.
