This is my last night in New York City. At least for this adventure. I’ve been living here 2 months working on projects such as Baby Grand, and it’s a bittersweet goodbye. I have always had a true love for this city and knew I wanted to live here at some point. This may be it, I may be back, but at least I have experienced New York the way I always wanted to. I have met some amazing people out here and made some exciting new friendships that make me very sad to leave. However, I am looking forward to getting back to my life in Los Angeles. And to the people there that I love and miss!
I feel like I have had insomnia some nights here being on such a different schedule. A lot of our DJ gigs went until 4am, and when we weren’t out we were working on music until that late.. or later. I often found myself still trying to fall asleep at 8am. eek. I have been really inspired lately and that was part of the problem too though, so I don’t mind staying up late to take advantage of those moments.
You’ll hear a lot of those inspired late nights on my next Voomz release. yeeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh coming soon soon soon to the moon
One thing I’m really excited about getting back to LA for is SHOWS! With recording Electronautz and traveling so much, I haven’t had a show in so long. Hopefully in the next two months we’ll be taking the spaceship to Spaceland or wherevs.
Hmmmm. I’m getting picked up for the airport at 7:45. I really hope I’m not just falling asleep then……
word.
